What is temporary employment?
Temporary employment is an alternative and flexible form of employment which guarantees jobs for employees and, at the same time, provides the companies who bring their staffing requirements to us with suitably qualified personnel.
Is there any charge for temporary employment services?
The Start People Temporary Employment and Human Resources Agency does not charge employees any fees or commission for registering on the database of potential employees, or for finding the employee a job.
Is an employee employed under a temporary employment contract entitled to leave?
Yes, he/she is. A temporary employee is entitled to two days leave for each month of being at the disposal of one user employer.
Who is the user employer ?
An user employer is an entity for whom a temporary employee performs work. Start People enters into an agreement with the temporary employee, sending him/her to a particular user employer . The user employer carries out the employer’s duties which are necessary in order to organise the work in which the temporary employee participates.
By whom is one employed under a temporary employment contract?
A temporary employee is employed by Temporary Employment Agency Start People, and then assigned to work for an Employer, namely an external company, this being the agency’s client, for a specified period of time.
What documents are essential in order to sign a temporary employment contract with Start People?
To conclude such a contract you will need a personal identity document (PESEL no. and document no.), a NIP no. (taxpayer identification number), and the number of the bank account into which remuneration will be paid.
What types of insurance cover does the temporary employee have?
Start People provides a full social insurance package (old age and disability pension, sickness and accident insurance), as well as health insurance.
How much one can earn working through the temporary employment agency?
The total remuneration depends on several factors, such as skills, education, work experience, availability and qualifications. In line with the current law, a temporary employee’s total remuneration depends on the emolument which the user employer intends for the holding of a given position.
Does the principle of equal treatment hold true for temporary employees?
A temporary employee cannot be treated less favourably in respect of working conditions and other conditions of employment, including pay, than other employees employed by the user employer and holding the same position.
Can employment agencies seek employment for minors?
At Start People, we rarely deal with job offers for minors. This isa result of the legal limitations regarding their direct employment .
