About temporary employment

What is temporary employment?

Temporary employment is an alternative and flexible form of employment which guarantees jobs for employees and, at the same time, provides the companies who bring their staffing requirements to us with suitably qualified personnel.

In consequence, a temporary employment relationship exists between three parties:

  • Temporary Employees
  • A temporary employment agency, such as Start People
  • A user employer, or a company for whom the temporary employee works.

The temporary employee is hired by the agency and then assigned, for a fixed period of time, to work for the user employer, which is an external company (the Agency’s client).

However, as a temporary employee, throughout that period of time you are an employee of the Agency, remaining under our protection. It is Start People which signs the contract with you, pays your remuneration, pays your social insurance contributions and makes your advance income tax payments.

The Agency also supervises compliance with the labour code and occupational safety and health regulations. Throughout your employment, we are on hand to provide you with day-to-day assistance and support, offering our help and advice.

The contract When you join the staff of Start People, you become our employee. We employ you under a contract of employment which either covers a fixed period of time, or a contract covering the period during which a specific job will be carried out. In exceptional, circumstances, as provided for by the law, we hire you under a service contract (falling outside the scope of employment law, and coming under the Civil Code).
The job

We hire you to perform a specific work at one of our client – user employers.

When appointing you to work at the user employer’s enterprise, we exercise special care in respect of safety issues. All Start People’s temporary employees undergo medical tests and training in occupational safety and health. We are covered by a third party liability insurance and, in our cooperation with some clients, we also provide an accident insurance.

If a given job requires it, we provide our employees with workwear. Before starting work, our temporary employees take part in essential training.

Our consultants remain at your disposal at all times.

Matters of payment

You pay nothing whatsoever for cooperation with us – everything is absolutely free of charge. The user employers are the ones who pay for the services we provide.

It is Start People who guarantees you timely payment of your remuneration; we also pay your social insurance contributions and make your advance income tax payments.

We are the link connecting employer and employee and our temporary employees are our most important asset, since it is they who are responsible for the quality of our services. Thus we invest equal care in the interests of employees and employers alike.
