Temporary employment, step by step…

... how does it work?

 

Step 1.

Contact us at Start People. You can do that in several ways:

  • Fill in an online application form. You will then be registered in our database and we will keep you updated on job offers suited to your qualifications and preferences. The more information about yourself you enter in the form, the easier it will be for us to propose a suitable job for you.
  • Visit one of the many Start People offices, located all over Poland. Go to the directory of our branches and select the office nearest to you. A warm welcome awaits you!
  • Apply online to the job offers of your choice. Use our Offer Browser and find the job that’s right for you.
Step 2.
When we find an offer which suits your skills and preferences, our consultant will contact you.
Step 3.

If you find the offer interesting, we’ll then invite you to take part in the recruitment process. This is usually divided into two stages:

  • A meeting at Start People, when we give you the details of the offer, and explain the principles of our cooperation and the rights and duties of a temporary employee.
  • A meeting at the user employer’s premises, during which, for example, you’ll have the opportunity to see your future workplace.
Step 4.
Once the recruitment process has been completed, Start People will inform you of the results and about the next steps to be taken.
Step 5.
Having complied with the formalities, we then invite you to sign the appropriate contract.
Step 6.
During the course of the employment, Start People will provide you with day-to-day assistance and support. Each month, we make timely payment of our temporary employees’ remuneration; we also pay their social insurance contributions and make their advance income tax payments. We oversee compliance with the labour code and occupational health and safety regulations, and offer advice and help.
Step 7.
On conclusion of the employment at a given user employer, we take care of the necessary formalities, issuing the employment certificate and any other documentation required.
Step 8.
We will present new offers to you and invite you to continue our cooperation.
